Onda's products are one-of-a-kind, made-to-order products created by craftsmen one by one.

It combines the strength, luxury, and safety of the real thing, and various ingenuity is put into each manufacturing process.

One of its features is the plating process to increase strength. The galvanizing process, which is performed in a pool of molten high-purity (98.5%) zinc ingots, increases the surface strength of the coating film, making it possible to create products that are resistant to temperature, light, dryness, salt water, water, and impact.

The second feature is the production of a luxurious finish by hammering. In addition, we supply raw materials from Japan to the Philippine factory, and we are completely confident that safety and quality are taken into consideration, such as conducting content inspections and strength inspections for lead (Pb), a hazardous substance .

Plating plantplating factory

Degreasing of products and selection of materials are important for plating. In order to improve quality, products are washed with acid and alkali and immersed in high-purity zinc pools, which requires a very large investment in pool equipment.
First, wastewater treatment equipment for pollution prevention. Wastewater from plating contains highly toxic substances, so a wastewater treatment facility is essential for detoxification. Preparing a zinc pool requires large equipment. Furthermore, in order to keep the zinc molten, it must be heated with a burner for 24 hours. This is because once the fire is extinguished, it takes several days to remelt. Our company was founded as a button manufacturing factory, so we already had plating pool facilities. Therefore, we are in an environment where existing equipment can be utilized to achieve plating processing.
We also place great importance on the purity of the plating. Purity is invisible to the naked eye, so careful selection is required. We have also inherited the knowledge of plating from the time when we were a button manufacturing factory, and we are making use of it in the manufacture of wrought iron.
When selecting a steel material, if a material with many impurities is selected, zinc will not adhere to the material. At our company, we do not take countermeasures such as supplementing with zinc paint. This is because we think that it will not be alloyed and that there will be problems with adhesion.
